The Gospel for Children Part 2
The Gospel can be hard to explain; it’s easy to throw around “church” terms and present the Good News in a way that makes it so deep it cannot be understood. This challenge is especially present when teaching the Gospel to children. However, a child’s age does not mean that they need a different Gospel message.
In this video series, Mister Brown discusses the key ideas to present when explaining the Gospel to children, as well as some common misconceptions about presenting the Gospel to children. Topics include:
A child’s need to hear the Gospel
God’s power to reach children
How to present the character of God
How to explain sin and its effects on humanity
How to explain Jesus’ identity
How to explain Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection
How to explain the significance of Christ’s sacrifice
How to present the choice to receive salvation
