Approaching the Issues of the Day With Compassion

When I speak at schools, students ask me a lot of questions. Some are silly, but usually I get asked very deep questions. I always premise my answers by telling kids that the issues of today are about people first. No matter how we may differ on issues, I will always respect someone because they have value as a human being and I encourage students to look at people the same way.
