Is True Sacrifice Dying for Christ or Living for Christ?

Mister Brown

I’ve been wrestling with a question lately that completely shifted how I view my faith, and I want to challenge you to think about it too. Is true sacrifice dying for Christ, or is it living for Him?

We often praise the heroes of faith who historically laid down their lives, but what about the daily sacrifice of choosing to honor God at our jobs, on social media, or even on a basketball court? In this Connecting Faith & Life, we dive into Paul's words in Philippians and Romans to uncover what it really means to honor God with our bodies.

Questions for personal reflection or discussion:

Read Romans 12:1. What does it mean to you to be a "living sacrifice" in your daily life at school, work, or home?

Do you view Christian living as a limitation or as true freedom?

How can you find small, everyday opportunities to boldly share the Gospel within your own circle of influence?
