Are You Carrying What You Should Be Casting?

Mister Brown

Do you ever feel completely overwhelmed by life, like the weight you're carrying is just too much to handle? I've been there more times than I'd care to admit.

In this podcast, I share a quick story about a broken suitcase that completely changed the way I look at my problems, my failures, and my faith. We look closely at 1 Peter 5:7, and what it really means to cast our anxieties onto a Heavenly Father who genuinely cares for us.

You don't have to walk through this life alone.

Questions for personal reflection:

What is a "heavy suitcase" (a worry, friendship issue, or school stress) you are trying to carry all by yourself right now?

What does it practically look like to move out of an overwhelmed space by relying on God's strength instead of our own?

Why do we often wait until our "wheels break" before we finally humble ourselves and cast our anxieties on our Heavenly Father?
