Galatians 5:22-23 | The Fruit of the Spirit

Mister Brown

What is the fruit of the spirit? It is what the Holy Spirit creates in us as believers in Jesus Christ.

Learn the Bible verse and hand motions with me.

"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law." Galatians 5:22-23

The fruits of the Spirit:

Love is God's self-sacrificing love.

Joy is not about feeling happy, but comes from knowing that God is in control.

Peace is confidence in God regardless of your circumstances.

Patience is the ability to deal rightly when something is making you mad.

Kindness is being friendly, generous, and considerate.

Goodness is reaching out to others to do good even when it is not deserved.

Faithfulness is being trustworthy or reliable.

Gentleness is a person who is submissive to God's Word.

Self-control is to have self-mastery over one's impulses.
