Read the Lord's prayer in Matthew 6:12-15 and you will see plainly that it talks about forgiveness and, sandwiched right in the middle, there's temptation. Avoiding temptations may be hard, but sometimes having forgiveness is even more difficult. Why does God put such emphasis on forgiveness? Could it be because He forgave us of so much? Both temptation and forgiveness are hard topics we grapple with, but let's look at this part of the Lord's prayer a bit closer and see what God has to say on the subject.
