Romans 5:8 | God Loves You and He Can Prove It!

How can you know for sure that God loves you? Romans 5:8 tells us that "God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." Memorize this verse with me using the tips and hand motions that I use.

Why did Christ have to die for us? Because we have all thought, said, or done things that displease God or break God's law. There are consequences for our sin and the consequence is death. Someone has to pay for that consequence and that is what Jesus Christ did when he died on the cross. Jesus paid for our sins with his life and it was a gift.
