Are You a Puppet? How About Exercising Some Self-Control | Proverbs 16:32

"Better a patient person than a warrior, one with self-control than one who takes a city." Proverbs 16:32 [NIV] Are you a puppet? If you do not learn to control yourself; someone else will have to control you, for you. I often tell this to kids when I speak at schools. Kids (and adults too) often get in trouble because they have a knee-jerk reaction to a situation instead of having some self-control and responding in a better way. There is a spiritual fight within each one of us for self-control. Let's start allowing ourselves to be Holy Spirit controlled instead.
