We Can Deny God, But He Cannot Deny Himself | 2 Timothy 2:11-13

Mister Brown

We can deny or ghost God. But God is faithful - He cannot deny Himself. We can look to God's Word to see just how faithful He is. 2 Timothy 2:11-13
Read 2 Timothy 2:11-13 with me:
[2:00] God's Word is trustworthy.
[2:22] We die to ourselves so that we may live with Him. Romans 6
[2:47] Christians will experience suffering, but ultimately we will reign with Him.
[3:37] Salvation is a work of God. We don't earn it, so we don't lose it. However, we must believe that we are sinners and trust that Jesus Christ died on the cross for our sins in order to receive salvation. We can't just be good people. Believing and trusting in what Christ has done makes us children of God. 1 John 2:19, Matthew 7:21-23, John 1:12
[5:22] God is faithful because He cannot deny Himself. We may not be faithful, but God is because it is in His very nature. He can't deny who He is. Philippians 1:6
