Is Sharing the Gospel the Same As Telling Someone What To Do? | 1 Corinthians 15:3-4

Mister Brown

Sharing the Gospel is not telling people what they need to do. Sharing the Gospel is about declaring what Jesus Christ has already done. People do need to do something - they need to decide if they trust Jesus Christ as their Lord and savior. But aside from that, Jesus Christ accomplished victory over sin when he died on the cross, was buried, and rose again on the third day. Our job isn't to coerce people into believing the Gospel message. Our job is to proclaim what Jesus has already done on the cross.
1 Corinthians 15:3-4 "For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures..."
