He Became Who We Are | 2 Corinthians 5:21

2 Corinthians 5:21 shows us that Jesus became who we are, so we can become who He is. We were born in sin and deserve the penalty of death and the wrath of God because of sin. Jesus took the penalty for us - He became sin on the cross. Jesus took our sin and He gave us His righteousness. We have been set free from sin when we believe that Jesus did that for us. Amen.
"He made Him who knew no sin to be sin in our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him." 2 Corinthians 5:21
