Choose To Sin Choose To Suffer | Restore Your Relationship With God

If you choose to sin, you choose to suffer. In other words, sin has broken our relationship with God. In this case, suffering isn't only about the pain we will endure in this life because of sin. It's also about a lost relationship with God the Creator. I like how New City Catechism defines sin: "Sin is rejecting or ignoring God in the world he created, not being or doing what he requires in his law."
