Oh that my ways may be steadfast
in keeping your statutes!
Then I shall not be put to shame,
having my eyes fixed on all your commandments.

This is a good prayer!
Psalm 119:5-6 is a gut-punch of a prayer. We can be bogged down by shame and guilt that we aren't living according to God's ways or we can be consistent with habits that honor God. Use this psalm to ask God to help you to live the way you are supposed to live. Do all you can to follow and honor God. Amen.
