Creating Resources You Can Actually Use
One of the things we are working on through Proclaim Ministries is creating resources that are practical and accessible.
A friend recently gave me some helpful feedback after I sent her the Parent Pickup Pocket Guide. She said she appreciated having something to read because sometimes she would rather read than watch a YouTube video.
And that reminded me of something important. People are busy.
Sometimes you can watch a video. Sometimes you cannot. Sometimes you want to listen while driving. Sometimes you want to quickly read something and move on with your day.
That is why one of our goals is to make resources that are:
Readable. Watchable. Listenable.
That may not be a real word, but we are going with it.
We want to create content that helps people in the way they can actually receive it. Some people want to watch a teaching. Some people want to listen while they drive. Some people want a short PDF they can save, print, or share.
The goal is not just to create more content.
The goal is to create useful tools that help kids, teens, parents, churches, and ministry leaders connect faith and life.
You Can Listen in the Proclaim Ministries App
One helpful feature in the Proclaim Ministries app is that many videos can also be listened to as audio.
That means you do not always have to watch the screen. If you are driving, walking, cleaning, or doing something else, you can still listen and learn.
Inside the app, you can open a video, tap the options, and switch from video to audio. That way, you can keep receiving encouragement and teaching without needing to stare at a screen.
That matters because, honestly, many of us probably need less screen time anyway.
