What is Salvation? | Acts 16:31

Mister Brown

What is salvation? This is a great question and you don't have to be afraid to ask questions about the Bible. Salvation is being rescued from sin - sin's penalty, sin's power, and one day the presence of sin. When Jesus Christ died for our sins, He saved us from sin's penalty, power, and one day its very presence. The penalty of sin is death and Jesus paid that penalty for us. Jesus also rescued us from a lot of pain because once we are saved, we are rescued from the power of sin. Finally, when we have salvation, one day we will be with God in heaven where there is no sin.
