Who Created God and How Was He Always There?
My short answers are:
Who created God? Nobody.
How was He always there? I don't know.
The Bible tells us that God has always been there and no one created Him.
"Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever you had formed the earth and the world, from everlasting to everlasting you are God." Psalm 90:2
"In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth." Genesis 1:1
God is the first uncaused cause. Nothing caused God to come into existence, but God caused everything else to come into existence.
That blows my mind!
God is eternal. He has no beginning and no end. He is like nothing else.
I think that is a relief because I can trust God who is above all things.
You can believe that everything came from nothing or that everything came from a Creator. What do you think?
