Day 24 Colossians 3:1-3 | What You Focus On Is What You Follow

Mister Brown

What you focus on is what you follow. This Rooted and Ready is focused on Colossians 3:1–3, I reflect on what it really means to set our minds on things above. This passage reshaped how I think about identity, mindset, and daily choices. Before activity comes identity, and when our focus changes, our formation follows. My prayer is that this challenges you to examine where your mind is set and who you’re becoming in Christ.

Watch now and ask yourself: what has my attention?

“If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth. For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.” -Colossians 3:1-3

Questions for personal reflection:

Where do you notice your mind drifting most often during the day?

How does remembering your identity in Christ change the way you approach daily decisions?

What is one practical way you can set your mind on things above this week?

Which takeaway stood out most to you: identity before activity, focus shaping formation, or security fueling freedom?
