Why Does God Give Us Choices?

Why does God give us choices? Why doesn't He make people be good and do what He says? God does not want us to be like robots. God wants people to come to Him by their own choice. None of us are perfect. We have all sinned and fall short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23), so we all need God. God gave us choices, but there are consequences to our choices whether they are good or bad. It's our responsibility to make the right choices.
