Day 27 Philippians 3:13-14 | Are You Pressing Forward or Living in Reverse?
There are moments when my past tries to define me. Old mistakes, old regrets, even old successes can pull my focus backward. In this Rooted and Ready video, I reflect on Philippians 3:13–14 and what it really means to forget what’s behind and press forward toward what God has called us to do.
This verse helped me learn that forgetting the past doesn’t mean denying it. It means refusing to let it control where I’m going. Whether you’re haunted by failures or stuck reliving former glory days, this message is about moving forward in Christ with purpose and hope.
Watch now and ask yourself: What would it look like for me to truly press on?
“Brothers, I do not consider that I have made it my own. But one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. “ Philippians 3:13-14
