Part 3 | When Doing Right Feels Wrong | Psalm 73
In Part 3, I focus on the turning point in Psalm 73: the draw. Asaph did not get clarity by trying harder, fixing his circumstances, or arguing his way out of his struggle. Everything changed when he drew near to God.
This part is all about perspective. Distance distorts, but nearness restores. When we get close to God through His Word, prayer, confession, and wholehearted worship, we begin to see more clearly. I also share practical ways to draw near when your heart feels messy, distracted, or spiritually tired. Watch now, share this with someone who feels stuck, and ask yourself: am I trying harder, or am I drawing nearer?
Questions for personal reflection:
What stood out to you most about the phrase “distance distorts, but nearness restores”?
When life feels off, do you tend to try harder or draw nearer to God?
Which of these feels most needed in your life right now: God’s Word, prayer, confession, or worship?
What is one practical step you can take this week to draw near to God?
