Part 1 | When Doing Right Feels Wrong | Psalm 73

Mister Brown

In this first part, I share a simple In-N-Out story that turned into a much deeper spiritual lesson. I opened the door for people, expected it to work out in my favor, and it did not. That moment reminded me how easy it is to feel frustrated when you try to do what is right and still do not get the outcome you hoped for.

Psalm 73 speaks so honestly to the struggle of comparison. Sometimes we are still following God, but we feel unsteady. We wobble. In this message, I begin unpacking what that looks like and why there is no win in comparison. Watch now, share it with someone who feels discouraged, and ask yourself: have I been comparing my life to someone else’s?

Questions for personal reflection:

Have you ever done something kind or right and felt disappointed by the result?

Why do you think comparison can make us feel spiritually unsteady?

Where do you see the “wobble” showing up in your own life right now?
