Day 20 Romans 5:1 | Are You Trying to Prove Yourself to God?

Mister Brown

I used to feel like I was still on trial with God. Even after believing in Jesus, I lived like my sins were still being reviewed every day. In this video, I talk about justification, what it really means, and why Romans 5:1 changed everything for me.

Justification is not a process. It’s a declaration. Because of Jesus, the war is over and we can finally have peace with God. If you’ve ever felt like you had to keep proving yourself spiritually, this message is for you.

Watch now, reflect on the verse, and ask yourself this question: Am I still living like I’m on trial?

“Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.” Romans 5:1

Questions for personal reflection:

What does it look like to live as if you’re still “on trial” with God?

How is justification different from trying to be a “good Christian”?

Why is it hard to believe that peace with God is already settled?

How would your daily life change if you truly believed Romans 5:1?
