Mephibosheth hid in fear from King David because he assumed he was viewed as an enemy. When have you allowed fear, shame, or past brokenness to keep you hiding from God? 

A gift is no longer a gift if you have to pay for it. Why is it so difficult for us to simply accept God's grace without trying to earn it?

King David initiated the search for Mephibosheth because of a covenant promise to someone else. How does knowing that God always makes the first move change the way you view your security in Him?

Mephibosheth went from living in fear to eating at the king's table just like one of the royal sons. In what practical ways can your family or ministry live out your divine purpose this week?
