Stop Saying "How Are You?" Stop Saying "I'm Fine"! How Are You Really Doing?

Mister Brown

"How are you?" is often followed with "Fine" or "Good". How many times have we said or conveyed that thought in our lifetimes? A pat response to “How ya doin'?" We may actually be fine and there’s nothing really wrong with that answer. But how can we go beyond that immediate, shoot out response? Does it really matter what we say or should we even care?

Psalm 112:1-6
Colossians 4:6 "Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you ought to answer each person."
Proverbs 18:21 "Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit."
